Your Poi-scription includes:
1 pound of fresh poi each month
6-month commitment
Community rate: $40 total
Limited availability: 100 pounds per month
This special rate reflects shared responsibility and collective support for our kalo growers. It is not intended to replace market-rate purchases.
Pickup Dates
January 30-31, February 27-28, March 27-28, April 24-25, May 29-30, & June 26-27
Friday 4:00 pm – Saturday 12:00 pm
Poi must be picked up during this window. Unclaimed poi cannot be held or guaranteed after the pickup time.
Pickup Location
Pick-up is off of Mamalahoa Highway in Holualoa.
Exact location will be provided after purchasing a poi-scription.
Responsible Stewardship of Poi
Because poi is prepared fresh and in limited quantities, timely pickup is essential.
After the pickup window closes, any remaining poi is released back to the farm
for responsible stewardship.
Extra Poi (When Available)
From time to time, additional poi may be available beyond poi-scription quantities. When this happens, extra poi may be offered for sale after the pickup window closes, from 2:00 pm until gone, while supplies last. Availability is not guaranteed.
If Monthly Pickup Isn’t the Right Fit
If you would like to support the farm but are unsure you can commit to a monthly pickup, we encourage you to make a donation or become a monthly sustainer instead of joining poi-scription. Your contribution still helps nourish families and care for the ʻāina.
Poi-scription FAQ
What happens if I miss my poi pickup?
Poi-scription is a monthly commitment, and poi is prepared fresh in limited quantities. Unclaimed poi cannot be held or guaranteed after the pickup window and may be stewarded by the farm in ways that reduce waste and honor the labor that went into its preparation.
